Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager specializing in Civil and Geotechnical Engineering to lead complex projects from conception through completion. In this pivotal role, you will oversee project planning, execution, and client communication, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to safety standards. Your leadership will drive project success while fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Lead the planning, scheduling, and management of civil and geotechnical engineering projects. Coordinate project phases such as investigation, permitting, design, and construction. Collaborate with clients and local, state, and Federal agencies. Prepare technical and cost proposals for prospective and existing clients. Manage project budgets, estimates, and approve project invoices. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and scientists and provide feedback to senior management on performance. Contribute to our collective team atmosphere. Projects May Include Geotechnical investigations, foundation recommendation report preparation, slope stability and embankment analysis, and geohazard assessments. Remediation under CERCLA, RCRA, and state regulatory programs. Closure of facilities containing coal combustion residuals. Remediation and redevelopment of Brownfield sites. Shale gas recovery and processing facilities. State Voluntary Action sites. Industrial and commercial site development. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Minimum B.S. with preferred Master's degree in engineering (civil, environmental, or geotechnical engineering) with 8 or more years of engineering and project management experience. Professional Engineer licensure and ability to obtain additional licensure through reciprocity within 6 months. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency with standard geotechnical industry suites. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Teamwork spirit with co-workers and clients. OSHA 40-hour training preferred. Valid driver's license with no unacceptable violations. Why Work at KEY?
