Senior Location:
Marlborough, Massachusetts (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
We are representing this company in the search for a Store Planner - Senior to support store planning and architectural drawing efforts for new stores, relocations, expansions, remodels, and special projects. The selected candidate will help shape site-specific plans that align with construction requirements, planning guidelines, and the overall in-store experience.
Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze project data to create site-specific plans and architectural criteria drawings. Make design and layout decisions that support efficient store layouts, department adjacencies, and support areas. Collaborate with Store Planning Management, Design, Store Operations, Merchandise Planning and Analysis, Architects, and Construction to resolve planning challenges and support store opening schedules. Assign and delegate projects, provide technical guidance, and ensure timely distribution and archiving of drawings and project data.
Required:
8+ years of related planning experience, preferably in retail design, store planning, interior design, or architecture. Working knowledge of REVIT and
ACAD/AUTOCAD.
Strong understanding of retail store operations, building architecture, construction procedures, and related codes. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, remain flexible, and manage time effectively. Problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
