Vice President - Transformation

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for WWP's Transformation and Suicide Prevention functions, establishing priorities that advance organizational objectives and long-term impact. Lead efforts to understand and shape the future of veteran mental health, brain health, healthcare delivery, and human performance, translating emerging opportunities into innovative solutions and organizational capabilities that advance WWP's vision and improve outcomes for warriors and their families. Develop and execute WWP's suicide prevention roadmap, leading strategic initiatives, partnerships, learning activities, and investments aimed at reducing suicide risk and improving well-being among warriors and their families. Provide executive oversight of the WWP Clinical Advisory Council on Advanced Therapies, ensuring external expertise informs organizational strategy, innovation priorities, and future care models. Establish and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, healthcare systems, think tanks, and external collaborators to advance research, innovation, and evidence generation that supports WWP's mission. Establish and lead a disciplined innovation-to-scale model that enables WWP to identify, test, evaluate, and expand high-impact programs, partnerships, technologies, and care models. Establish governance, decision criteria, and responsible innovation guardrails to evaluate emerging therapies, partnerships, pilots, and transformation initiatives through clinical, ethical, legal, operational, reputational, and warrior-safety considerations. Drive cross-functional alignment with leaders across the Complex Care portfolio and broader organization to translate emerging knowledge, research findings, and innovative concepts into sustainable operational improvements and scalable solutions. Lead and develop high-performing, mission-focused teams while fostering a culture of curiosity, innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. Attend and actively participate in required training and/or meetings, including but not limited to New Teammate Orientation, WWP Cares, ASIST Suicide Prevention training, Leadership training, culture/team based training, or departmental huddles. Requirements Ten years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, behavioral health, mental health, public health, human services, nonprofit program leadership, strategy, innovation, transformation, or related field. Eight years of staff management experience. Five years of experience leading programs or enterprise initiatives with responsibility for strategy development, execution, performance management, and outcomes. Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that improve mental health, brain health, healthcare delivery, suicide prevention, or human performance outcomes through data-informed strategy, partnerships, and scalable execution. Preferences Experience in a nonprofit environment or working with military, veteran, first responder, or trauma-exposed populations. Experience in suicide prevention, behavioral health, brain health, trauma recovery, complex care, care coordination, or population health. Experience developing strategic partnerships with academic medical centers, healthcare systems, government agencies, community-based organizations, national thought leaders, or executive-level advisory bodies.EDUCATION
Requirements Bachelor's degree in social work, health administration, psychology, behavioral health, business administration, public health, public policy, or related field. Preferences Master's degree in public health, healthcare administration, psychology, behavioral health, social work, business administration, public policy, or related field.CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURE
Requirements Valid state-issued driver's license. Ability to obtain ASIST Certification within 1 year of hire. Preferences ASIST Certification.WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
