PRIMARY FUNCTION
Assistant Chief Engineer

Director of Engineering
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Major areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: Responsible for managing the daily operations of the Engineering department. Manage department scheduling, as well as PTO and other time off requests. Prioritize issues and assign work orders accordingly. Oversee the Engineering team to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Enforce company and departmental policies and procedures. Manage the guest room and back of house preventative maintenance programs. Provide training and leadership to the Engineering staff, leading by example. Act as the Director of Engineering as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
High level of knowledge in MEP and related systems. Minimum of 3 years of experience overseeing Fire and Life Safety systems. Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role in the hospitality industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Flexible schedule available, with the understanding that this position is on-call 24/7.
