Seneca South Carolina This opportunity sits within a complex energy and infrastructure environment, supporting long-range work planning, resource balancing, and implementation scheduling across major projects. The role combines planning expertise with stakeholder coordination to help maintain an efficient annual work plan and optimise delivery in both office and field settings, including a nuclear power plant environment. Candidates with mechanical planning experience and the ability to manage schedule changes, levelisation, and work plan meetings will be well aligned to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate implementation of the annual work plan across all projects within the planning horizon.
• Consult with stakeholders to gather annual work plan data, establish priorities, and make adjustments to align work with available resources.
• Support work balance and levelisation to deliver a cost-effective and efficient resource plan to the scheduling function.
• Monitor and optimise the long-range implementation plan and direct required schedule changes.
• Initiate and lead monthly work plan meetings with stakeholders to help ensure business goals and objectives are achieved.
• Maintain alignment between planning activity, operational priorities, and implementation requirements in a technically demanding environment.

Must-Have Skills:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical discipline and planning.
• Strong experience in long-range planning, resource planning, scheduling support, and work levelisation.
• Ability to gather and interpret planning data, set priorities, and adjust implementation plans to meet operational objectives.
• Experience working closely with stakeholders and leading planning meetings in a structured project environment.
• High School Diploma.
• Ability to work in both office and field environments.
• Willingness to work within a nuclear power plant environment.
• Ability to work safely in environments that may include high noise, high temperature, rotating equipment, and pressurised equipment.
• Willingness to use required personal protective equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, and hearing protection.
• Availability for overtime, including increased hours during refuelling outages as required.
