Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Quality Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to lead and manage the quality control program for the Holston Explosive Decomposition Chamber (EDC) project, ensuring all work meets USACE, client, and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Provide senior-level management and oversight of the project quality program, including development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with
USACE CQCM, ISO
9001, and project-specific requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor the project quality team, including assignment of responsibilities, performance evaluations, and professional development.
  • Interface with executive, senior management, client, and regulatory representatives to ensure alignment of quality objectives and compliance with contract requirements.
  • Develop, review, and maintain project-specific quality procedures, manuals, and documentation; ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulatory commitments.
  • Conduct and oversee internal and external audits, inspections, and surveillance activities; facilitate corrective and preventive actions and track non-conformances to closure.
  • Review and approve quality-related submittals, including test plans, procedures, technical deliverables.
  • Lead and participate in pre-bid, bid, and contract planning, including quality input to proposals and contract deliverables.
  • Support supplier and subcontractor qualification, audits, and performance monitoring.
  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across all project functions and disciplines.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction or Architecture.
  • 10+ years of work experience in Quality on projects valued at $100M+ and 7+ years in a management capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience with
USACE CQCM
program, ISO 9001, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, and other relevant standards.
  • Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect registration, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Membership in a nationally recognized quality organization (e.g., ASQ).
  • Experience with government, infrastructure, or process/industrial projects.
  • Additional certifications such as
CMQ/OE, CQA, CQE, NQA-1, NDT, AWS
Welding Inspector, or DOT.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Quality Management software.
Certified
ISO-9000
Lead Auditor (ISO 9001 or equal), or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire

Salary Range:
