Job Description Full-Time | Permanent | On-Site Overview The Engineering Manager drives process innovation, equipment design, and team development to ensure operational excellence, safety, and scalability in a fast-growing, high-technology environment. The Engineering Manager ensures safe, reliable, and scalable production capability while aligning execution with the company's mission, growth strategy, and core values. The Engineering Manager is responsible for Process Engineers, Controls Engineers, Facility Engineers and Maintenance Engineers.

What You'll Do:

Build, mentor, manage high-performing engineering team responsible for process functions.

Lead capital planning, Capex budgeting, operating expense for Engineering and Maintenance

Collaborate with Corporate Engineering implement engineering standards and strategies.

Drive a culture of safety, continuous improvement, accountability, teamwork, and integrity.

Develop role based expectations, succession plans, and talent development paths.

Lead projects focused on process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement

Develop and improve manufacturing processes using Lean and Six Sigma principles.

Define maintain equipment specifications, standards, and vendor performance expectations.

Ensure process scalability from prototype to full production.

Oversee troubleshooting and root cause analysis for quality, productivity, and safety issues.

Lead initiatives for scrap reduction, OEE improvement, cost reduction, uptime reliability.

Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and engineering change processes to ensure manufacturability and production readiness.

Implement and manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance strategies are fully deployed.

Collaborate with Quality and Sales on customer requirements and applications.

Ensure adherence to ISO and other applicable quality management standards.

Provide data driven updates on project status, engineering metrics, maintenance performance.

Ensure alignment with Operations, Finance, Procurement, HR, and Corporate Engineering

Qualifications:
What We're Looking For:

BS degree in engineering or related technical discipline (advanced degree preferred).

10 + years relevant engineering experience in battery, extrusion, coating, polymer processing, specialty film, or other high precision continuous process industries highly preferred.

CAPEX project management expertise

Demonstrated ability to develop technical talent and lead multidisciplinary teams.

Strong decision making and prioritization skills in a fast paced environment.

Expertise in Continuous Improvement, Lean and six sigma

Effective communicator tailoring messages to technical and non-technical audiences.

Present technical data and project status to both internal stakeholders and customers.

Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to diagnose complex process issues.

Expertise in root cause analysis, statistical problem solving, and structured decision making.
