Duties Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules utilizing project scheduling tools to ensure timely completion of all project phases. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Oversee construction management activities, including site inspections, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols. Prepare detailed technical engineering reports, drawings, schematics, and design documentation using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and Schematics tools. Manage permitting phases by coordinating with regulatory agencies and ensuring compliance with local codes and environmental regulations. Conduct hydrological modeling and stormwater management analysis using hydrologic analysis tools like HEC-HMS or ArcGIS to optimize system designs. Lead geotechnical assessments, water treatment system design, hydraulics calculations, and land surveying activities to support civil infrastructure projects. Utilize GIS platforms such as ArcGIS for spatial analysis and site planning; employ Hydrologic analysis tools for water flow modeling. Manage construction estimating processes to develop accurate budgets; oversee construction inspection activities to ensure quality standards are met. Generate technical engineering reports that detail project progress, technical findings, and recommendations for clients and stakeholders. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical engineers for water/wastewater treatment systems or geotechnical specialists for foundation design. Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle; manage project documentation diligently using Bluebeam or similar software. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; professional engineering license preferred. Proven experience managing civil infrastructure projects involving stormwater systems, pipelines, or water/wastewater treatment facilities. Strong proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation; experience with CAD drafting and schematics is essential. Familiarity with construction management practices including scheduling (MS Project or equivalent), site inspections, and safety protocols. Knowledge of hydrological modeling tools like HEC-HMS or HEC-RAS; experience with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS is highly desirable. Ability to perform complex technical calculations involving hydraulics, hydrology, geotechnical considerations, and land surveying data. Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports; effective communicator capable of managing client relationships confidently.
