Job Title:
Electrical Project Manager Job Description We are seeking a versatile Electrical Project Manager to join a dynamic and growing team. This position involves overseeing smaller service projects, acting in various capacities such as Project Manager, Superintendent, or Foreman, and being present on-site to assist crews as required. The role is integral to ensuring successful project execution within the national industrial group, which includes upgrades to industrial manufacturing facilities such as food and beverage, ethanol, manufacturing, and mining. Responsibilities Serve as the field project manager, handling all aspects of field operations. Oversee multiple crews on major projects, ensuring efficient workflow and project progression. Manage material procurement and requisition needs. Establish workflows and sequences to ensure projects remain on track. Enforce safety regulations and foster a culture of workplace safety. Conduct project takeoffs, review prints, and complete look-ahead schedules. Order materials and work with foremen to manage crews effectively. Manage project schedules, instrumentation, conduit runs, and coordinate with site foremen. Supervise as the main on-site superintendent with two leads/foremen reporting directly. Be hands-on and provide assistance when necessary. Essential Skills Proven experience as a journeyman or master electrician. Experience leading at least one project as a foreman or superintendent. Experience with industrial job sites, including instrumentation, pull schedules, and conduit runs. Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Suite. Proficiency in electrical wiring, conduit installation, PLCs, and electrical construction. Demonstrated project management capabilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to wear multiple hats and adapt to various roles within the project lifecycle. Strong communication skills to manage and coordinate with foremen and crew members. Experience in conducting project takeoffs and managing material orders. Work Environment The role involves working on-site at various industrial upgrade projects, including facilities such as food and beverage plants, grain elevators, and mining operations. The position requires being hands-on, with a vehicle available for site visits. A culture of safety and efficiency is prioritized, with the need to enforce safety regulations and ensure project timelines are met. The position includes per diem and potential coverage for mobilization and demobilization costs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Prairie, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
