Full-Time About the Opportunity A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Design Engineer Supervisor to lead a team of 8-12 Design Professionals developing safe and efficient steel joist and decking solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical expertise, team development, engineering performance, and continuous improvement . Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8-12 Design Professionals. Provide technical leadership in steel joist and decking design. Drive engineering quality, productivity, and process improvement. Establish consistent engineering practices and monitor team performance. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering, or related field. Structural engineering or steel design experience. Proven leadership and team development experience. Strong engineering, communication, and problem-solving skills. Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Preferred:

Steel joist, decking, structural steel, or metal building experience. Engineering supervisory/management experience. Familiarity with

AISC, SJI, SDI, ASCE

, and applicable building codes. Manufacturing and engineering software experience. Compensation & Benefits $120,000-$140,000

Base Salary ROA Bonus:

Up to 33%
