Job Description
The Electrical Engineering Supervisor partners closely with the Operations, Maintenance and Projects teams to troubleshoot electrical issues, provide technical support and ensure compliance with corporate standards, industry codes, and regulatory requirements. The role also acts as the Technical Authority for electrical engineering design reviews, Management of Change processes, and development of sustainable processes/procedures to sustain safe and reliable operations Primary Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions Supervise, mentor, and coach a team of Electrical Engineers. This includes overseeing both Senior and Junior Engineers to ensure technical accuracy and professional development. Provide technical guidance, set priorities, and support professional development Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Electrical Engineering Systems Oversee development and review of maintenance procedures related to electrical equipment. Strong knowledge of power distribution within an industrial facility from 480V to 138kV Strong knowledge of large synchronous machines Develop electrical safety operating and engineering practices for company assets that fully incorporates all aspects of electrical safety standards and
