  • Education and Professional Development Assistance ​The Senior Quality Manager is responsible for all aspects of quality engineering for multiple locations, including flawless launches of new products, scrap reduction, improved process capability for significant characteristics, Amazon improvement programs, and warranty reduction projects.
1. Develop and execute the Quality strategy for the Mansfield manufacturing facilities.2. Support both warranty reduction and Amazon ratings improvement programs related to Mansfield manufactured product.3. Drive processes and activities that support the goal of flawless launches of new programs.4. Work with production personnel and plant management to analyze and solve problems to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.5. Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.6. Develop, implement, and maintain quality control standards and tests used in processing finished products. 7. Lead development of process failure mode effects analysis (PFMEAs), control plans, and flow diagrams during the advanced product quality planning (APQP) process, using a team approach.8. Investigate customer concerns regarding quality.9. Design and implement quality control training programs.10. Maintain active role on internal continuous improvement teams.11. Ensure effectiveness of the quality system through internal and external audits and performance measures.12. Support International quality projects as needed.13. Perform other duties as required within the nature and level of work. Bachelors degree in engineering or related technical field, seven (7) years related manufacturing quality experience, and three (3) years supervisory/management experience are required. Working knowledge of
ISO 9001, TS
16949, Six sigma green or black belt certification preferred. Must possess excellent planning, organization, leadership, presentation, decision‐making, analytical, and oral and written communication skills. Ability to multi‐task, adapt to changes in priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint). ​Occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
