Back Mechanical Planner - S/4 Hana Reliability & Maintenance Contract 11469 Aug 28, 2026 Sabine Pass , TX Mechanical Planner - S/4 Hana Join our team as a Mechanical Planner specializing in S/4 Hana and maintenance planning for key asset management projects in the oil and gas industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical maintenance operations, ensuring reliability and safety in a dynamic environment. With a focus on SAP and S/4 Hana, you'll play a vital role in creating efficient work plans, coordinating schedules, and supporting operational excellence.
Required Skills:
Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA, with at least 5 years of industry experience. Strong background in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution processes. Experience with scaffolding, painting, insulating, rigging/lifting crafts, welding, fabrication, and machining work planning. Proficiency with project planning software such as MS Project or Primavera P6 is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively under pressure. Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as PHMSA standards is preferred. Ability to develop KPIs, generate reports, and analyze schedule deviations. Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience with Prometheus scheduling software. Hands-on knowledge of gas compression and metering equipment. Familiarity with maintenance activities in PHMSA-regulated pipeline facilities. Experience working with CMMS modules and supply chain interfaces.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED; technical degree or similar education a plus. Minimum of 5+ years of maintenance experience within the oil and gas or petrochemical industries utilizing SAP.
Other Requirements:
Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card. Valid state-issued driver's license. Ability to work M-F, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, with limited overtime. Local candidates only; no relocation allowance offered. This position is primarily desk-based with minimal field work, focusing on planning and coordination. Duration of approximately 18 months, with potential reevaluation based on performance.
