Vice President of Strategy

Positions Summary:
The Vice President of Strategy serves as a key strategic partner driving forward corporate strategy and overall business objectives.
Essential Responsibilities:
Own business strategy function and drive key performance indicators to meet company objectives as determined by senior leadership. Facilitate strategic planning bringing together all stakeholders and departments including but not limited to Sales, Operations, and Finance, ensuring long-range planning aligns with corporate strategies and objectives. Collaborate with Sales and Finance departments to maintain key industry insights allowing for data driven decisions to be made across the business. Serve as strategic partner to Commercial executive leadership relating to formulation, planning, and execution of strategic initiatives. Perform other duties as required.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, similar field of study, or equivalent experience required. MBA preferred. 10 years experience in a leadership role within Industrial Sand, Mining, Oil & Gas, or similar industry required. 5 years experience in Corporate Development, Corporate Strategy, Consulting, or similar experience required. Proven success driving and achieving large-scale business objectives demonstrated through partnerships at all levels of an organization including C-level executives. Demonstrated success translating data and analysis into measurable outcomes in a commercial application.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics, using business management software including ERP's and CRM's. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, photocopiers/scanners, and smartphones. Ability to travel including overnight stays as required. Ability to work weekends and evenings as required. Ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
