What You'll Get To Do:
Leadership- Establishing Mission Assurance continuity, vision and direction across a portfolio of projects/programs with competing priorities and resources.
- Providing clear assignments that help employees understand how their work connects to the broader organizational goals, and create an environment that motivates high performance.
- Promoting professional development and training of the MA team while fostering a collaborative work culture characterized by mutual respect, inclusion, and a commitment to innovation, affordability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with program teams to secure proper funding for Mission Assurance tasking across various projects/programs; ensure team executes to plan.
- Leading and participating in root cause and corrective action analyses (RCCA) and failure investigations for high impact issues and mentoring personnel in the use of RCCA for lower-level issues. Execution
- Establishing and maintaining compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) policies, procedures, and processes to ensure the performance and quality of products conform to established standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Mission Assurance and Global Supply Chain to ensure quality is inherent in every requirement, design, work product, and end-product delivered by Northrop Grumman.
- Identifying potential risks related to hardware and software products and developing mitigation strategies.
- Analyzing and identifying gaps in project/program requirements and helping to drive proactive solutions.
- Managing non-conforming material life cycle (inspection through MRB disposition, customer notification, etc.).
- Developing and delivering quality-related content/presentations to program leadership and other stakeholders.
- Developing, modifying, and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
- Collecting, analyzing, and reporting key performance indicator data/metrics and taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and improve performance. As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Defense Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree AND 8 years of related experience OR Masters degree AND 6 years of experience in Quality/Mission Assurance or Systems Engineering.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
- Relevant work experience should also include aerospace industry experience, conducting/managing internal audits, advanced knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles, and a basic knowledge of mechanical and non-destructive inspection techniques.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Quality Management Systems (AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP and government standards) and certifications.
Have:
- Experience managing people
ISO 9001/AS9100
lead auditor certification- Experience in identifying and driving operational/organizational change and excellence
- Advanced level of understanding of complex quality policies, procedures, and governmental regulations and workflow
- Experience in a sustainment environment
- Experience in the development of Basis of Estimates in support of proposals
Primary Level Salary Range:
$126,600.00- $189,800.
