This position may offer a competitive relocation package.What You'll Get To Do:
As an Engineering Manager/Lead (S03) of theAVE SEI MS&A
Mission Engineering team, you will serve in helping guide all the Mission Engineering efforts across the AVE. This includes overseeing trajectory analysis, both in 3 and 6 degrees of freedom, 6DOF simulation development, targeting program development, and operational analysis in support of AVE mission objectives. These tools and analyses support, but are not limited to, payload to range, post boost vehicle maneuverability, weapon system effectiveness against threats, accuracy, vehicle environments characterization, and flight test predictions. This individual will report directly to theAVE SE&I MS&A
leadership and provide direction to all Mission Engineering leads and interface directly with the various IPTs to inform and provide understanding of key data and results. This candidate will provide leadership to all Mission Engineering efforts and ensure that the tasking is properly assigned and completed within MS&A Mission Engineering team. This manager/lead will need to be able to provide technical authority across the AVE segment with respect to the Mission Engineering requirements.Position Benefits:

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with 8 years of related experience or Master's degree and 6 years of related experience
- Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Program Access within a period of time that meets current business needs
- Experience in Program Execution, Staffing, Engineering Metrics and Training resources, Processes, and Tools
- ICBM experience
- Experienced in Trajectory Analysis or Operational Analysis
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time These Qualifications Would be Nice to
Have:
- Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost, and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team, or manager
- 3 years in a formal management position
- Demonstrated experience in making sound decisions in uncertain and difficult situations
- Demonstrated experience leading a team through an EMD program in compliance with program requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities
- Experience in performing in an Agile environment and knowledge/understanding of JIRA
- Strong sense of urgency and work ethic in ensuring engineering meets customer and program expectations in a timely and efficient manner
- Demonstrated technical writing experience in both authoring and reviewing formal analysis documentation; strong ability to verbally communicate technical content to senior engineering leadership
- Demonstrated experience working with customers and senior leadership to ensure project success
Primary Level Salary Range:
$166,700.00 - $250,100.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
