Kaeser Compressors, Inc. is seeking an individual who has worked in an industrial or manufacturing environment to fill the position of Technical Projects Engineer for our location in Fredericksburg, VA. - Job Description
- _The selected candidate will:_
- Support the Technical Projects group in planning, coordinating, executing, and managing engineered projects and accomplishing stated project objectives
- Collaborate with System Design and Engineering and other Technical groups to effectively and efficiently address the needs of engineered projects
- Work to maintain the progress of engineered projects with emphasis on cost reduction, maximizing benefits, and profit, and proactively reduce risk for not meeting project goals.
- Collaborate with teams to continuously develop, improve and implement project management guidelines, standards, tools, practices, and benchmarks for all engineered projects
- Review actual projects and develop working reports, metrics, and milestones for engineered projects
- Perform site audits to identify potential areas for improvement
- Required Qualifications
- _The successful candidate's background will include:_
- Bachelor Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field
- Expert verbal and written English proficiency
- Minimum 1 year experience using intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- SAP experience (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience, commercial or industrial field (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of CAD, Solid Edge (preferred)
- 1 year of general technical and business experience to include data analysis and project management skills
- Basic skill level in writing and/or editing technical documents
- This is a salary position, with an annual range of $60,000-$65,000, to commensurate with experience. We offer an excellent benefit package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Profit Sharing and 401(k) Plan as well as a roof top cafe, an on-site exercise facility, free exercise classes and a health and wellness program.
