Project Manager - Civil/Underground Utilities

Excavating Project Manager A leading excavating company is actively seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join their team. This individual will oversee the day-to-day operations of excavating, water/sewer, and Civil projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Responsibilities:

Manage all phases of excavating, utility, and civil construction projects Oversee schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and field operations Coordinate with clients, engineers, vendors, and project teams Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget Handle project documentation, cost tracking, and overall project performance

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in excavating, water/sewer, utilities, or related heavy civil construction Experience working with subcontractors and managing field operations Strong knowledge of heavy civil/highway projects, grading, concrete, and underground work Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience preferred Familiarity with heavy construction equipment and operations Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and leadership skills Stable work history
