Role Description The Civil/Utilities Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Ashland, WI, responsible for managing excavation, sitework, and underground utility projects from planning through completion. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating project schedules, supervising field crews, managing subcontractors, and ensuring work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role involves overseeing material and equipment needs, tracking project costs, and maintaining clear communication with clients, inspectors, and internal stakeholders. The Project Manager will also review plans and specifications, mitigate risks, resolve site issues, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in project management for civil construction or underground utilities, including planning, scheduling, and coordination. Strong expeditor and expediting skills to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and documentation. Experience with inspection activities, quality control, and compliance with local codes, standards, and safety regulations. Proficiency in logistics management, including coordinating crews, equipment, and subcontractors across multiple job sites.
