Job Description

Join a Leader in Industrial Equipment Installation We are seeking an experienced Project Manager Engineer to oversee the installation of custom industrial equipment at customer sites across the United States. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys travel, solving mechanical challenges, and leading field installation teams from project start to finish. This position requires approximately 40% travel and offers the opportunity to work on large-scale industrial projects while serving as the primary point of contact for customers on-site. Responsibilities Lead onsite installation and commissioning of large industrial equipment and mechanical systems. Supervise field crews, subcontractors, and customer personnel to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and installation documents. Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve installation issues. Monitor project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved on time. Serve as the primary customer contact during field installations, providing updates and resolving concerns. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in the field. Promote and enforce safe work practices while maintaining compliance with all safety standards. Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate progress to internal teams. Qualifications Previous experience in mechanical installation, industrial construction, field service, or equipment installation. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints. Experience leading crews or coordinating field installation projects. Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time throughout the United States. Experience working alongside union labor is preferred but not required. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
