Help Shape the Future of Transportation at REI Engineering REI Engineering is seeking an experienced WisDOT Transportation Design Project Manager to help lead and grow our transportation engineering services. This newly created role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our design transportation services while delivering impactful projects throughout Wisconsin. We are looking for a motivated professional with the vision and initiative to expand client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen our WisDOT transportation design presence. Working alongside REI's leadership team, you'll help drive strategy, support business development, mentor staff, and contribute to the long-term success of this growing service area. Why REI? What You'll Do Develop and manage WisDOT transportation design project scopes, schedules, budgets, and contracts Serve as the primary point of contact for municipal, county, state, and private-sector clients Lead WisDOT transportation design efforts for roadway, intersection, pedestrian, bicycle, and related infrastructure projects Coordinate project activities with internal staff, subconsultants, clients, & regulatory agencies Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers, designers, and project staff Support business development activities, including client relationship management and proposal preparation Assist with strategic planning & growth initiatives for REI's transportation design practice Ensure project quality, regulatory compliance, and adherence to REI's quality control standards What We're Looking For Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university 10+ years of related experience in WisDOT Roadway Design Wisconsin Professional Engineer (PE) Demonstrated experience managing transportation, roadways, or municipal infrastructure design projects. Strong understanding of Wisconsin DOT standards, municipal processes, and transportation design principles. Experience developing and managing project budgets and schedules. Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel periodically for client meetings and project-related activities.
