Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Water Technician to join our reputable restoration team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for responding promptly and efficiently to water and fire damage emergencies, conducting comprehensive damage assessments, and executing restoration procedures to restore properties to their pre-loss condition. Your expertise will be essential in helping clients recover from flood, fire, mold, and water-related incidents with precision and professionalism. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your technical skills and dedication directly contribute to client safety and satisfaction. Responsibilities:
Respond swiftly to emergency calls involving water damage, fire restoration, flood recovery, or mold remediation situations. Perform detailed assessments of affected areas using specialized tools and techniques to determine the extent of water intrusion and damage. Execute water extraction, drying, cleaning, and sanitation using industry-standard equipment such as pumps, vacuums, and moisture meters. Adhere strictly to safety protocols including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use and respiratory protection during all restoration activities. Operate company vehicles responsibly while following safety guidelines for transportation and job site access. Assist with construction-related tasks such as demolition, minor repairs, or installation of drying equipment as needed. Document all work performed accurately using Xactimate estimating software and maintain detailed records of job progress, materials used, and services provided. Support mold remediation efforts and asbestos abatement procedures following strict safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by routinely cleaning tools, equipment, and work sites. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients throughout the restoration process and addressing their concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in the restoration industry or construction is highly preferred; training will be provided for motivated candidates eager to learn. Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques, flood recovery procedures, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement is advantageous. Ability to operate hand tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and other restoration machinery safely and effectively. Strong understanding of safety protocols including PPE use, respiratory protection, and OSHA standards compliance. Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor and positive attitude. Ability to respond on-call for emergency situations outside regular working hours when required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles is preferred. Construction experience or familiarity with building materials can be beneficial for certain tasks within this role. Salary will depend on experience.

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
