Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Water Technician to join our restoration team. In this vital role, you will lead water damage, flood, mold remediation, and fire restoration projects, ensuring high-quality service delivery and safety compliance. Your expertise will drive efficient project execution, supervise technicians, and coordinate emergency response efforts. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and customer satisfaction. Duties Lead and oversee water damage restoration, flood cleanup, mold remediation, and fire restoration projects from start to finish Conduct thorough assessments of affected areas using specialized equipment such as moisture meters and Xactimate for accurate damage estimation Supervise and mentor technicians in proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protection, hand tools, and other safety protocols Execute cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation with efficiency and attention to detail Respond promptly to emergency calls for water leaks, flooding, or fire damage incidents, ensuring swift on-call coverage and response readiness Operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all safety protocols during transportation of equipment and personnel Document project progress, damages, and repairs accurately using industry-standard software like Xactimate; prepare detailed reports for clients and insurance claims Qualifications Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on water damage, flood recovery, mold remediation, or fire restoration Construction experience is highly desirable to understand structural repairs and building systems Strong knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use, respiratory protection, asbestos abatement procedures, and general safety standards Ability to operate hand tools, commercial cleaning equipment, carpet cleaning machines, and Xactimate estimating software Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients during stressful situations Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in emergency response scenarios with on-call coverage availability Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles safely Join us in delivering exceptional restoration services that restore hope and rebuild lives!
