Full Time About the Opportunity Our client is an established and growing environmental consulting and engineering firm with nearly three decades of industry experience. They are seeking a highly technical Senior Environmental Engineer with an active PE license to lead complex projects, mentor staff, and collaborate across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise while also supporting client relationships, business development, sales, and marketing through technical and scientific insight. Key Responsibilities Lead environmental engineering projects involving Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III Environmental Site Assessments, site investigation, environmental compliance, and soil and groundwater remediation. Oversee site characterization, sampling, laboratory data interpretation, remedial design, implementation, and monitoring while providing accurate technical recommendations. Review reports, designs, and project deliverables for technical accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance. Manage project scope, budgets, staffing, schedules, and technical deliverables across multiple projects. Mentor and develop technical staff while promoting a collaborative and high-performing team culture. Build relationships with clients, subcontractors, laboratories, consultants, and industry partners while supporting project scoping, proposals, RFP and RFQ responses, client education, sales, and business development. Qualifications Active Professional Engineer license required, ideally active. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field. At least eight years of related environmental engineering experience. Strong hands-on experience with groundwater and soil investigation, sampling, environmental compliance, site assessments, and remediation. Strong knowledge of EPA, DTSC, State Water Resources Control Board, DWR, OSHA, and other applicable regulatory requirements. Demonstrated ability to lead projects and provide technical guidance and mentorship. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical information to technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Client-facing and business development experience preferred. QISP and 40-hourHAZWOPER
certifications preferred. Strong industry relationships and an established professional network that can support business growth are highly preferred. Compensation & Benefits Base salary of $135,000 to $160,000, depending on experience, along with a highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
