Job Summary:
The Environmental Compliance Engineer role will provide you with an opportunity to work on challenging environmental compliance projects to support project teams in our Compliance Practice. As a member of our high performing project teams, you will develop a broad set of skills related to the field of environmental regulatory compliance, as well as related fields, under the guidance of senior staff and through multiple opportunities to work independently and with peers. Looking for someone who has a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each new environmental compliance specialist project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned): Provides training and assistance with compliance issues, primarily with EU environmental directives such as RoHS, WEEE, and REACH, including developing training materials and conducting training classes along with resolving related compliance issues Conducts environmental audits at various Key's facilities according to established policy and guidelines, and tracks the resolution of any deficiencies noted in the audits Provides compliance support to all divisions, reviewing requirements for plans for different states to ensure the company is in compliance and determining the plans are updated as required Prepare review report and documents and/or internal documents prepared by other departments on compliance and regulatory issues Works with other departmental staff, contractors and/or regulatory agency personnel in resolving and investigating violations of environmental regulations and permit requirements Performing other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology or a related field is preferred Minimum 2 years of work experience in chemical engineering Good understanding and experience with computer proficiency Experience with MS Access is a plus, as well as good communication skills including effective speaking and presentation skills Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and self motivated with the ability to effectively handle multiple projects Salary Range $95,000 - $105,000 Supermicro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
