Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Remediation Technician for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in San Leandro, CA . In this role, you will lead remediation projects, supervise field crews, support the Project Manager, and help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The ideal candidate has remediation or restoration experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Responsibilities Lead onsite remediation crews and ensure projects are completed safely and according to scope. Support the Project Manager with emergency response, estimating, job setup, project documentation, and customer communication. Perform inspections, maintain project records, and document job progress, including photos, notes, moisture maps, and dry logs. Manage water damage, mold, sewage, structural cleaning, contents cleaning, board-up, biohazard, and other restoration projects. Train and mentor technicians while promoting safety, quality, and teamwork. Requirements IICRC certification required at the Journeyman level or actively working toward it with at least three completed classes. Experience in remediation, restoration, mitigation, or related field operations. Ability to lead crews, manage job sites, and deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. Experience with restoration software such as PSA, Encircle, Xactimate, Contents Tracker, or similar platforms preferred. Strong knowledge of remediation processes, moisture monitoring, equipment setup, containment, and selective demolition.
