An Environmental Engineer develops solutions to environmental problems using engineering, biology, chemistry, and geology. Addresses pollution control, waste disposal, recycling, or public health issues. Works on local environmental issues, such as polluted groundwater, or global or regional issues, such as acid rain. Works with environmental scientists and public policymakers to identify problems and develop technologies that benefit people and protect the environment.

Job Description
Tasks will include:
Conducting environmental field work, including collecting soil, groundwater, and remediation system data, groundwater sampling, fluid level gauging and oversight of subcontractors. Produce accurate and complete documentation of operation, inspections and compliance Field document preparation, field data collection, processing and interpretation. Supporting office tasks, including data analysis and report preparation. Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance. Travel to project locations including driving and overnight stays. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or closely related field and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education. Valid driver's license, subject to a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record Screening. Subject to Background check. Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. US Citizen or Permanent Resident. Preferred Qualifications Relevant years of field experience in environmental consulting. 40-HourHAZWOPER
Training Supervisory. Master's Degree is a plus. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent attention to Health and Safety.
