Job Description

Job description: Environmental Engineer at VA Hospital - Bachelor's Degree Required We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer who will be located at the Orlando VA hospital in Florida. This candidate should have experience in legionella prevention. This position is an hourly contract position with a maximum of 40 hours a week. The contract is for one year with three extension option years. The candidate must be a United States Citizen to work on this federal property. We are not able to offer any kind of visa sponsorship, like H1B.

Prior experience in designing and managing environmental projects is highly valued. Legionella prevention is a must.

Be the on-site expert, confirming the existing conditions are adhering to environmental and safety regulations.
Prepare Site Visit Reports:
Your observations will shape the course of hospital projects.
Prepare Scopes of Work:
Contribute your expertise to defining project objectives.
Evaluate Contractor Performance:
Your insights will drive excellence in project execution.
Ensure System Sequences of Operations:
Verify that air handler units, chillers, and heating systems are operating seamlessly.
Bid Phase Collaboration:
Collaborate with contractors during the bid phase to ensure design integrity.
Field Verification:
Assess existing systems for renovation projects, providing essential data.
