Lead Restoration Technician — Job Description Position Overview The Lead Restoration Technician is responsible for overseeing and executing water, fire, and mold mitigation projects with precision, professionalism, and adherence to industry standards. This role combines hands‑on technical work with leadership responsibilities, ensuring that every job site operates safely, efficiently, and with exceptional customer care. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage restoration projects from initial inspection through completion. Perform water mitigation, structural drying, fire cleanup, smoke deodorization, and mold remediation. Conduct moisture mapping, readings, and detailed job documentation using industry tools (e.g., hygrometers, thermal cameras, Docusketch). Direct and supervise technicians, ensuring proper workflow, safety, and productivity. Set up and maintain equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA filtration, negative air machines, and inject‑dry systems. Communicate clearly with customers, adjusters, property managers, and internal teams. Ensure compliance with IICRC standards, OSHA safety requirements, and company SOPs. Participate in on‑call rotations and respond to emergency losses, including nights and weekends as needed. Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment to ensure readiness and reliability. Train new technicians on proper procedures, safety, and job execution. Required Qualifications WRT certification required Minimum 1-2 years of experience in water, fire, or mold restoration Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and job sites Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces, attics, crawlspaces, and various environmental conditions Valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong communication and customer‑service skills Ability to work on‑call and weekends as needed Mica/Mitigate proficiency (preferred)

$26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
