Primary Responsibilities The Environmental Engineer supports environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives across RoyOMartin operations. Under the mentorship of experienced environmental staff, this entry-level role provides hands-on experience in field monitoring, data analysis, regulatory documentation, permitting, and compliance while developing practical environmental engineering expertise. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assists with environmental monitoring activities, including water, air, and soil sampling, field inspections, and environmental audits Collects environmental data, maintains field records, and organizes, analyzes, and summarizes monitoring data Maintains records related to environmental monitoring, audits, inspections, permits, and regulatory submissions Supports permitting activities, including document preparation, data compilation, and tracking permit requirements and renewal deadlines Develops practical knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations related to air quality, water quality, and solid waste, including NSR, PSD, Title V, LPDES, and TPDES requirements Assists with environmental incident documentation, investigations, and corrective actions under the guidance of senior environmental staff Drafts technical reports, summaries, and regulatory correspondence with guidance from experienced environmental professionals Partners with site environmental coordinators and operations teams to support compliance activities and learn environmental best practices Participates in environmental compliance training and awareness initiatives across company locations Travels to manufacturing sites as needed to support field and compliance activities Job Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a related Engineering discipline.
