Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Water Mitigation Technician and become a vital part of restoring properties affected by water damage, fire, mold, and other disasters. In this energetic role, you'll be on the front lines of disaster response, utilizing your skills in cleaning, restoration, and construction to help clients recover quickly and confidently. Your proactive approach will ensure that affected spaces are thoroughly dried, cleaned, and restored to their original condition, providing peace of mind to homeowners and businesses alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in the restoration industry while making a meaningful difference in people's lives. Duties Respond promptly to water damage, fire restoration, mold remediation. Use hand tools and power tools to remove damaged materials and perform structural repairs. Operate equipment such as moisture meters, air movers, dehumidifiers, and other restoration tools to dry affected areas efficiently. Perform cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, surface cleaning, and debris removal to prepare spaces for restoration. Follow safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment at all times. Document job progress through detailed reports and communicate effectively with team members and clients throughout each project. Requirements Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred. Knowledge of water damage restoration processes, fire restoration techniques, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in confined or challenging environments. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward safety procedures. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is often required for travel between job sites. Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
