Prep Cook — Concessions Position Overview We're seeking an experienced, reliable Prep Cook to join our concessions team. This role is responsible for food preparation, inventory-based prepping, and cooking support before and during events. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Pay Starting at $20/hour Key Responsibilities Prep salads, salsas, and fresh produce Cook rice, meats, and queso to standard recipes Set up concession stand for service Cook and support live service during events as needed Analyze sales trends to forecast prep quantities and minimize waste/shortages Maintain a clean, organized, and health-code-compliant workstation Requirements Minimum 1-2 years of prep/line cook experience (required) Valid SNHD Health Card Valid TAM and/or ServSafe certification Working knowledge of SNHD (Southern Nevada Health District) health and safety regulations Ability to lift 50+ lbs Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to work efficiently under pressure during high-volume events Strong teamwork and communication skills Professional demeanor and positive attitude Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays for events Preferred Qualifications Experience in a Mexican restaurant, particularly with tacos and meats Bilingual (English/Spanish) Reporting Structure This position reports directly to the owners.
