Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of civil engineering as it relates to the design, construction, operation and maintenance of a large municipal sewer system; Good knowledge of sanitary engineering as it relates to sewage treatment, sewage lines and appurtenances to the sewer system; Ability to design and construct additions and improvements to a large sewage system; Ability to prepare and analyze hydraulic engineering records and reports; Ability to express and evaluate engineering concepts and decisions in drawings, designs, and written specifications; Ability to understand and carry out administrative directions; High degree of accuracy; Good professional judgment; Initiative; resourcefulness; tact and courtesy; Good address; Integrity; Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.Benefits
