To ensure that economic growth occurs while preserving existing air resources, the Division for Air Quality issues permits that contain all applicable requirements to these important manufacturing facilities. We currently have an opening for an Environmental Engineer Technologist I. This position is in the Combustion Section of the Permit Review Branch, which issues permits for power plants, distilleries, saw mills, wood drying, food manufacturing, charcoal, and landfill gas-to-energy. We are looking for someone who is a detail oriented and independent worker but still enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. The preferred candidate will have time management and decision making skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position will provide you with the opportunity to work across branches within the Division and with the regulated community.
