We are seeking a Senior Environmental Professional with deep expertise in site investigation, remediation, and subsurface environmental services to join our growing team in Vermont. This is a leadership-oriented role focused on delivering high-quality environmental solutions while supporting strategic growth across state, municipal, and private sector clients. This position is a key growth hire aimed at expanding our subsurface and environmental capabilities across Vermont and New Hampshire. You'll play a critical role in building a local team presence, strengthening relationships with agencies and municipalities, and supporting impactful projects across the region—including on-call contracts and multidisciplinary efforts with environmental, civil, transportation, and hazmat teams. In this role, you will lead and manage a wide range of environmental projects—including site investigations, remediation efforts, permitting, and brownfields redevelopment—while collaborating closely with internal leaders and technical teams to deliver exceptional results and drive continued growth.

- Provide senior-level project management and technical leadership on environmental investigation and remediation projects
- Lead projects involving site investigation, remediation, permitting, and brownfields redevelopment
- Ensure high-quality, compliant deliverables aligned with regulatory requirements and firm standards
- Support and drive business development efforts with state agencies, municipalities, and private clients
- Collaborate with Market Leaders, Discipline Leaders, and Business Unit leadership to identify and pursue growth opportunities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, particularly across Vermont and New Hampshire
- Supervise, mentor, and guide technical staff supporting environmental projects
- Contribute to the growth of subsurface services, including supporting on-call contracts and existing client programs Additional Information
Help for Additional Information. - Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, Geoscience, or Environmental Science
- 8+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on site investigation and remediation
- Professional licensure (PE or Professional Geologist) preferred
- Proven experience delivering environmental services to Vermont and/or New Hampshire clients
- Strong understanding of state environmental regulations
- Demonstrated project management and leadership experience, including staff supervision
- Established relationships with state regulators, municipal clients, or regional stakeholders is highly desirable
