Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with site compliance and permitting regarding air, water, mining, and other applicable regulations. Support the preparation and submission of modification and renewal applications for water, air, mining, and other applicable permits. Participate in site audits for quarries, asphalt plants, shops, and construction sites. Collect samples to support environmental compliance. Entering environmental data, preparing reports, and analyzing data in support of operations. Contribute to project management and coordination efforts. Assist in preparing, presenting, and training employees on necessary records and reports required to be maintained on site. Coordinate and communicate effectively with municipal and State Agencies under the guidance of senior staff.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering. EIT (Engineer-In-Training) certification preferred. Basic understanding of Federal and State Mining, Water, and Air Regulations. Familiarity with 401 and 404 permitting processes is a plus. Knowledge of erosion and sedimentation processes and practices. Experience with AutoCAD software is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as required. Valid Driver's License.
