We're looking for a Remediation Technician to join our response crew — someone who can walk into a flooded server room, a fire-damaged retail space, or a wind-damaged commercial roof and know exactly what to do first.
This is a commercial-focused role:
our clients are property management companies, facility owners, and insurance carrier/TPA programs — not homeowners. You'll be working on-site at office buildings, retail centers, multifamily properties, and other commercial facilities, often under tight carrier SLA windows. What You'll Do Respond to water, fire, smoke, and storm damage emergencies at commercial properties, including after-hours and weekend callouts as part of an on-call rotation Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture monitoring using extraction equipment, air movers, and dehumidifiers Execute demolition and content removal for fire- and water-damaged materials (drywall, flooring, insulation, ceiling tile) Set up and monitor containment for mold remediation and smoke/soot cleanup Document job sites thoroughly — photos, moisture readings, and scope notes — to support Xactimate estimates and insurance claim documentation Operate and maintain commercial-grade restoration equipment; keep the truck stocked and equipment in working order Communicate professionally with property managers, facility staff, and insurance adjusters on-site
What We're Looking For Required:
Prior experience in water/fire damage restoration, remediation, or a related trade (construction, demolition, HVAC, plumbing) Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in physically demanding conditions (heat, confined spaces, ladders) Valid driver's license with a clean-enough record to drive company vehicles Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response, including nights/weekends Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently on-site at client facilities
