About us Superior Water Restoration is a leading water damage restoration and mitigation services provider. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on customer satisfaction, we have earned a reputation as a trusted partner in helping homeowners and businesses recover from water-related disasters. Our team of professionals is dedicated to delivering superior service and restoring peace of mind to our clients. Superior Water Restoration is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Mitigation Technician to join our team. As a Mitigation Technician, you will play a crucial role in responding to water damage emergencies, mitigating damage, and restoring properties to their pre-loss condition. This hands-on position requires strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Respond to emergency water damage situations promptly and professionally. Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial properties. Remove damaged materials and contents from affected areas. Set up and monitor equipment to facilitate the drying process. Inspect and assess damage to develop an appropriate mitigation plan. Document all mitigation activities, including moisture readings, equipment setup, and progress reports. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient and effective mitigation and restoration processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Keep track of tools and equipment Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Document before and after photos of mitigation projects and coordinate with Project Managers in a seamless manner. Responsible for having work authorizations signed before commencing mitigation projects. Keep vehicles clean and maintain warehouse tidiness.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; IICRC certification is a plus. Previous experience in water damage mitigation or related fields preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in physically demanding and fast-paced environments. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Willingness to be on-call and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when necessary. Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 pounds).
