Role Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Mitigation Technician to lead mitigation work in the field, respond to emergency losses, support customers during stressful situations, and help keep jobs moving from initial response through reconstruction handoff. The successful candidate will lead by example, work alongside technicians, maintain strong documentation, communicate clearly with customers and the team, and help ensure every job is completed safely and to company standards.
Salary Information:
Compensation is approximately $23 - $26 per hour. Trauma cleaning is paid at double time, and hoarding work is paid at time and a half. Paid holidays are provided. A company vehicle is available for work use.
Responsibilities:
Respond to water, fire, mold, and emergency restoration losses. Lead mitigation services including drying, cleanup, remediation, and board-ups. Run job sites and work alongside mitigation technicians. Set daily priorities and keep production moving. Ensure work is completed safely and to company standards. Hold team members accountable for safety, quality, and performance. Communicate with project managers and coordinators on job progress. Provide updates, flag issues early, and keep jobs on track. Serve as an on-site point of contact for homeowners. Maintain job notes, photos, moisture mapping, and required documentation. Keep job files, approvals, and records accurate and up to date. Maintain vehicles, equipment, and job site organization. Ensure job sites are clean and ready for reconstruction handoff. Participate in on-call rotation and jump in during high-demand situations.
Requirements:
Restoration or mitigation experience required. WRT, ASD, and AMRT certifications preferred. Strong understanding of drying, cleanup, remediation, board-ups, and emergency loss work. Ability to maintain accurate moisture mapping and job documentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members. Leadership ability and strong emotional intelligence. Comfortable working with different personalities. Able to lead technicians while still working hands-on in the field. Organized, dependable, and able to keep jobs moving. Comfortable with occasional weekend flexibility and on-call support.

$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
