Seeking experienced Maintenance Engineers for opportunities supporting a major automotive manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for individuals with strong hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, automated manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting, and production equipment reliability. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment and working closely with maintenance, engineering, production, and controls personnel. Responsibilities Provide technical maintenance and engineering assistance for automated manufacturing and production equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation-related equipment issues. Assist maintenance personnel with diagnosing recurring equipment failures and identifying root causes. Support equipment uptime, reliability, and continuous improvement activities. Analyze equipment problems and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Work with PLC-controlled equipment, industrial networks, sensors, motors, drives, robotics, and other automated manufacturing systems. Assist with equipment modifications, upgrades, installations, and commissioning activities. Review equipment performance and help identify opportunities to improve reliability and reduce downtime. Coordinate with production, maintenance, controls, engineering, and outside equipment suppliers as required. Document troubleshooting activities, equipment changes, and technical findings. Follow all plant safety procedures and established engineering and maintenance standards. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in an automotive manufacturing or highly automated industrial environment . Strong industrial electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Experience with automated production equipment and PLC-controlled machinery. Familiarity with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC systems is highly desirable. Experience with industrial robotics, VFDs, servo systems, safety systems, industrial networks, and I/O devices is beneficial. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, and equipment documentation. Strong troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills. Ability to work independently as well as with maintenance and engineering teams. Good communication and documentation skills. Willingness to work in an active manufacturing environment.

Pay:

$75.00 - $85.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
