Competitive salary based on experience Starting bonus Direct mentorship from experienced engineers Diverse and challenging projects across multiple industries Excellent opportunities for professional growth and career advancement Collaborative, supportive team environment Exposure to every phase of project design, from concept through construction Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on projects throughout Arizona What You'll Do As a Mechanical/Plumbing Designer, you'll help design building systems for a wide variety of facilities, including: Healthcare Laboratories and Cleanrooms Educational Facilities Government and Municipal Buildings Commercial Offices Retail Industrial Facilities Multifamily Residential Single-Family Residential Your responsibilities will include: Design mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial and public projects Produce high-quality Revit models and construction documents Perform heating and cooling load calculations Complete ductwork and piping sizing calculations Prepare energy code compliance documentation Develop equipment schedules, specifications, and technical data sheets Coordinate designs with architects and other engineering disciplines Participate in client meetings and design coordination meetings Research and apply applicable building codes and industry standards Assist with plan review responses and construction administration Perform occasional field observations and construction site visits Assist with commissioning and functional performance testing Work with equipment manufacturers and representatives to evaluate products and obtain pricing Incorporate sustainable and energy-efficient design solutions into projects What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, takes pride in producing quality work, and wants to continue growing professionally. Required Qualifications Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university with internship or industry experience OR Minimum of three (3) years of mechanical/plumbing design experience in the A/E/C industry Preferred Qualifications Experience using Revit (highly preferred) Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing design principles FE/EIT certification or desire to obtain licensure Strong communication and organizational skills Positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn Project management experience is a plus, but not required Benefits We believe great employees deserve great benefits.
