Per-project compensation, based on project scope and responsibilities About the Opportunity We are an established residential general contractor in the Phoenix area looking to expand our capabilities by adding plumbing to our residential construction operations. We are seeking an experienced plumbing professional to work with us as our CR-37 Plumbing Qualifying Party (QP) on a project-based compensation structure. This is not a license-rental or name-only position . We are looking for someone who can take an active role in overseeing the plumbing portion of our residential projects and help ensure the work is performed properly and in compliance with applicable requirements. The right candidate will bring strong residential plumbing experience, knowledge of Arizona codes and industry standards, and the ability to supervise plumbing work associated with residential construction and remodeling projects. Responsibilities Serve as the company's Qualifying Party for an Arizona CR-37 Plumbing contractor license Actively oversee and supervise plumbing work on our residential construction projects Help ensure work complies with applicable Arizona plumbing codes and regulations Provide technical guidance to plumbing crews and subcontractors Help establish field procedures and quality-control standards Help coordinate plumbing scopes with our general contracting team and other trades Review workmanship and help resolve technical or customer issues Assist with permitting, inspections, and code-compliance matters when necessary Work closely with ownership and project management to deliver plumbing scopes efficiently and correctly Qualifications Minimum 4 years of verifiable plumbing experience or otherwise able to satisfy Arizona ROC requirements for the CR-37 classification Able to qualify as the company's Arizona CR-37 Plumbing Qualifying Party Strong knowledge of residential plumbing, including new construction and remodeling Understanding of Arizona plumbing codes and permitting requirements Strong leadership and communication skills Reliable, professional, and interested in a long-term opportunity Previous experience as an Arizona ROC Qualifying Party is highly preferred Existing or previous CR-37 qualification is a major plus What We're Looking For We are particularly interested in experienced residential plumbers, plumbing supervisors, foremen, or former plumbing business owners who have the technical experience to qualify a company with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors and are comfortable working alongside a residential general contractor. If you have previously served as a Qualifying Party on an Arizona CR-37 license , please mention this when applying. Compensation & Opportunity This is not a salaried position . Compensation will be paid per project , with the amount or structure agreed upon based on project scope, complexity, and the level of responsibility involved.
