Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled HVAC Controls Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of various programming languages and frameworks, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment. The Application Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing application performance and ensuring the security and scalability of our systems. Duties Design, develop, and implement application solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Maintain and enhance existing applications by troubleshooting issues and implementing new features. Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. Utilize microservices architecture to build scalable applications that meet business needs. Work with XML for data interchange between systems. Implement vulnerability management practices to secure applications against potential threats. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes. Requirements Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript and CSS. Experience working in UNIX environments. Knowledge of computer networking principles. Familiarity with cloud services, particularly Azure. Understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation. Experience with vulnerability management techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment using Agile methodologies. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
