(AMi), a leading provider of Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) services, is seeking a highly motivated HVAC Project Engineer to join their Walnut Creek, Northern California team. AMi specializes in the design, value engineering, construction and maintenance of HVAC indoor air quality systems and energy management systems in commercial and industrial buildings. Our customers include office buildings, refineries, airports, hotels, clean rooms, universities, laboratories, developers and property managers. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals interested in performing HVAC project work from inception to completion. The project engineers will perform heating and cooling load simulations, mechanical system design, equipment specification, control system layout and Autocad drawings. Other activities include estimating, purchasing, project management, site surveys, field verification, collaborating with installation crews and system commissioning. The successful candidates shall possess strong Autocad skills as well as social, written and verbal communication skills to interface with clients, architects, engineers and construction personnel. Computer skills required include Autocad, Excel, and Word. Salary range listed is considered base level and may change depending on curriculum completed, related work experience, and other factors. Once projects are performed from inception to completion, position will become eligible for commission pay.
