Controls Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading building automation, HVAC, and industrial control systems in a regulated manufacturing environment. Job Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC controls, air handling systems, and facility automation. Experience with Siemens, BACnet, or similar building automation platforms. Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to read wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, control drawings, and schematics. Knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, air handling units, and exhaust systems. Knowledge of PLCs and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). Experience installing and modifying control wiring, panels, sensors, actuators, and related equipment. Experience performing preventive maintenance, inspections, system testing, and performance verification. Experience working with industrial maintenance and facility control systems. Experience supporting system integrations, upgrades, and change control activities. Preferred Skills Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Instrumentation, Electronics, HVAC, or related technical field. Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment. Pharmaceutical or GMP manufacturing experience. Experience supporting validation activities. Experience with facility automation improvement projects. Experience developing or maintaining SOPs and technical training documentation. Job Responsibilities Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair BAS, HVAC, air handling, chiller, exhaust, and control systems. Install and modify control wiring, control panels, sensors, actuators, and related components. Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and other industrial control systems. Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections on facility automation and HVAC equipment. Execute system testing and performance verification activities. Support BAS and HVAC system integrations and upgrades. Support engineering change control and system modification activities. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, control drawings, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation. Coordinate facility system work with contractors, vendors, engineering, and maintenance personnel. Support facility automation and HVAC continuous improvement projects. Develop and maintain SOPs and technical documentation. Support validation and regulatory compliance activities. Maintain facility automation and HVAC systems to support equipment reliability and manufacturing operations.
Pay:
