Part-time Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced HVAC Responsible Managing Agent (RMA) to oversee and support our company's licensed operations. This role is ideal for a knowledgeable professional who prefers flexibility and autonomy while ensuring compliance, quality workmanship, and adherence to industry standards.Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the company's designated Responsible Managing Agent (RMA) in accordance with state and local licensing requirements Review, approve, and oversee HVAC permit applications to ensure accuracy and compliance Provide high-level oversight of field operations and workmanship performed by HVAC technicians Ensure all work meets applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards Act as a technical resource for troubleshooting complex installations or service issues Support quality control by reviewing completed projects as needed Maintain awareness of changes in HVAC codes, regulations, and best practices Be available for consultation with management and staff when requiredWork Structure:
No fixed office hours or location requirements Fully flexible schedule — come and go as you please Work is primarily advisory and oversight-based rather than hands-onQualifications:
Active HVAC license in good standing (required for RMA designation) Proven experience in HVAC installation, service, and code compliance Strong understanding of permitting processes and regulatory requirements Ability to oversee and guide technicians with professionalism and authority Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Reliable and responsive when neededCompensation:
