Job Description

Assistant Engineer We're looking for an experienced Assistant Engineer to join the engine department aboard an offshore support vessel operating in the Gulf. This is a hands-on position supporting the Chief Engineer with the safe operation, maintenance, and reliability of the vessel's machinery and auxiliary systems.

Responsibilities:

Stand engine room watches and monitor propulsion and auxiliary equipment. Perform planned and corrective maintenance on diesel engines, generators, pumps, compressors, and associated machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and assist with equipment repairs. Support bunkering, fuel transfers, lube oil management, and engine room housekeeping. Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with company safety and environmental procedures. Assist with emergency response duties and help ensure the engine room remains operationally ready throughout the hitch.
