Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a HVAC Engineer to support a company focused on advanced training systems and mission-critical engineering solutions for the Department of Defense and U.S. Navy. This position is on-site in Orlando, FL . The HVAC Engineer will support the design, analysis, and testing of complex chilled-water and forced-air HVAC systems for a large-scale, fleet-representative training environment. Join a long-term program supporting critical military readiness while helping develop advanced engineering capabilities across multiple organizations. Responsibilities for the HVAC Engineer include: Design and support testing of chilled-water HVAC systems for complex training environments. Develop, review, and modify HVAC system designs utilizing SolidWorks and/or Revit. Support hydronic cooling, forced-air distribution, and HVAC system validation activities. Coordinate HVAC requirements and designs with mechanical, electrical, and multidisciplinary engineering teams. Analyze system performance, recommend design improvements, and provide technical expertise throughout the design and testing lifecycle. Required Qualifications for the HVAC Engineer include: 5+ years of experience in HVAC design, mechanical engineering, or building systems engineering. Experience with chilled-water systems, hydronic cooling systems, forced-air distribution, and HVAC testing methodologies. Proficiency with SolidWorks , Revit , and applicable HVAC engineering standards including ASHRAE guidelines. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Must have U.S. work authorization and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance . Compensation for the HVAC Engineer include:
Salary Range:
$130,000 - $150,000 depending on experience
