In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical infrastructure, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for our guests and staff. Your expertise will help uphold our high standards of quality and service, creating an inviting atmosphere that guests love to return to. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a dynamic hospitality setting, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and operational excellence. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment Light janitorial duties Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, elevators, and other hotel facilities Respond to guest room calls to fix tv's, phones, internet, toilets, ACs Painting, shampooing carpets, changing light bulbs, cleaning pool Qualifications Proven experience in facilities or building maintenance within a hospitality environment Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals Electrical experience including troubleshooting with tools like ohmmeters and understanding electrical systems Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting for property upkeep Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to resolving guest concerns quickly and efficiently Join us as a hotel maintenance engineer where your technical expertise will directly impact guest experiences!
