Job Description
Job Description The Deputy Engineering Leader provides hands-on technical leadership for Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Monitoring and Control System (EMCS) projects within mission-critical environments. This role leads engineering execution related to controls systems, controller programming, and sequences of operation while serving as a technical expert for HVAC, mechanical, and integrated power systems. The Deputy Engineering Leader supports engineering teams, reviews designs and drawings, mentors engineers and field technicians, coordinates engineering workloads, and partners with project managers to deliver scalable and resilient controls solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead engineering execution for BMS and EMCS projects. Design and review controls systems, controller programming, and sequences of operation. Provide technical expertise related to HVAC, mechanical, and integrated power systems. Review engineering drawings and ensure designs align with project scopes and requirements. Mentor junior engineers and field technicians. Coordinate engineering workloads and support team development. Manage and support a small engineering team. Partner with project managers and stakeholders to ensure quality, reliability, and project success. Support mission-critical environments such as data centers, military installations, and hospitals.
